Join us for a fun afternoon of arts and crafts!
In this introductory workshop, young makers ages 6-12 are invited to learn a new craft and create a one of a kind work of fiber art. We will be using a sustainable and DIY approach to weaving using a variety of recyclable materials. Weaving is a creative, intuitive and meditative activity.
The workshop with be 3 hours and all materials will be provided.

About the host: My name is Mary Clare Pelch and I am a teaching artist living in Berlin. I have a degree in Fine Art and Art Education from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. I am an interdisciplinary artist working with painting, drawing, sculpture, and fiber. I have experience teaching young students arts and crafts in both private and public schools.
